Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 6 September 2026
Welcome to Prime Academics. By creating an account or using our website and platform (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms on your behalf.
Prime Academics is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
1. What We Offer
Prime Academics provides subscription-based access to NCERT-curriculum-aligned lesson content for students in Classes 6–12, across Maths, Science, and Social Science, delivered through our website and platform.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- One account is for one student's personal use; sharing login credentials to circumvent subscription limits is not permitted.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
- We offer free trial access (currently 7 days) and paid Silver and Gold subscription tiers, billed monthly or yearly via Razorpay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand.
- You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you retain access until then.
- Prices are listed in INR and may change with reasonable advance notice; existing subscriptions are honoured at the price you paid until renewal.
- See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share, resell, screen-record, or redistribute lesson content outside your personal use.
- Attempt to bypass subscription tier restrictions or access controls.
- Use automated tools to scrape or download content in bulk.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Violation may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
5. Intellectual Property
All lesson content, design, branding, and platform code are the property of Prime Academics or licensed to us. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to access content for personal educational use during your active subscription — not ownership of the content itself.
6. Content Accuracy
We take care to align content with the NCERT curriculum, but we do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in any specific academic outcome, exam result, or grade. Prime Academics is a supplementary learning tool, not a substitute for formal schooling.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prime Academics is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Service Availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control (hosting provider outages, internet disruptions, etc.).
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent payment activity, or pose a security risk to the Service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
